Dawn Marie Brown has served families as a midwife for over 10 years, with experience spanning Spokane, Idaho, and seasons of life spent in Hawaii as well. Since beginning her midwifery journey, she has had the privilege of attending approximately 1,000 births. Her work has included busy birth centers as well as her own practice, bringing both steady experience and heartfelt presence into every birth space.

She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist, and her massage work integrates naturally into her care for midwifery clients. Dawn values the partnership and relationship that midwifery care creates, and she maintains an education-forward approach because she believes knowledge is power.

Married for over 27 years and Alaska-grown, Dawn has traveled extensively around the world, including mission trips and humanitarian trips through churches. She is the mother of three children and has personally experienced birth in three settings: once in the hospital, once at home, and once in a birth center. Now that her children are grown, she values family time more than ever. She and her family live on 10 acres in rural Washington, and she enjoys all things outdoors, including triathlons. In her quiet time, she loves to garden and read.
